Hey there ladies.....happy Saturday!  Time for another challenge over at My Sheri Crafts!!  This time we want you to show off your cards and projects with 3D flowers!!  I was really planning on making some but these small ones I had just purchased seemed to fit this card so very well!! :)

Happy Mother's Day

With Mother's Day right around the corner we are celebrating our moms over at My Sheri crafts this couple of weeks!  I don't know about you ladies but my momma happens to be the best in the whole wide world!  Our challenge included showing off the things about our moms in our cards or projects.  My card is my mom thru and thru....she loves to sew, she has the greatest singing voice EVER, and her fave color is yellow!

Arbor Day

Arbor Day celebrations!!!  Ok ok the celebration of nature too!!!  That is the way my project went this go around over at My Sheri Crafts.  This project was inspired by my great nephew Kaden who got a bug catcher kit for Easter.  Little did I know that on Easter we would be not only egg hunting but bug hunting!!  LOL!  Of course we had a grand time searching and trying to scoop stuff up and then trying to keep everything in the cage!

SPRING is in the AIR

SPRING has sprung over at MY SHERI CRAFTS this week!  Come on over and celebrate the introduction to Spring with your beautiful creations!!  This week I picked yet again a quite simple card that the papers seem to speak for themselves!!! Papers are two sided which makes for great contrasting papers, of which I know the recipient of this card is going to LOVE!! :)

Its Fishing Time

Over at My Sheri Crafts this two weeks we are celebrating FISHING TIME!!! :)  My card this go around is to my brother for his b'day coming up soon.  This reminds me of all the summers we spent out on the fishing banks of CO so am hoping he will like it!!!

Both the fish and reel are cut from the Camping Out cartridge.  Paper I got at HL and the green paper ribbon was something i saw at a store and thought hmmmmm i can do that myself! LOL!

Love Is In The Air

Hey gals and Happy Almost There Valentines!!! :)  Over at My Sheri Crafts this two weeks we are celebrating love in the air!  I wanted to go outside the norm and do a project along with a card so hope that you enjoy it!!! 

Start with any size of smooth styrofoam wreath.  I covered it with a solid colored piece of fabric before adding the tulle.  Cutting pieces of tulle relatively the same sizes or a bit smaller all depending on you preference! One layer of each color all the way around with as many colors added in as wanted! I then added the flowers that I got from HL in both the floral and scrapbooking sections.  After that I added in some stemmed feathers also from HL along with some Christmas tree decorations that I bought 80% off at Walmart after the holidays!  All in all it came out to be quite snazzy and my youngest daughter loved it so much she decided it was HERS! :)  The card I decided to make just because I was feeling in the red white and black valentines mood.....The jar of hearts is from Michaels with the flowers and ribbon from HL!  Come on over and show us the love you have for your family and friends!!!

Stamping Challenge #1

Hey Ladies!!!  Wanting to share a new Challenge out there and hope that everyone goes to check it out and helps these ladies get off to a great start!!! :)  I really guess I just used the sketch mainly as needed to print a sentiment that found online.....so really no stamping involved unless we count the ink i used around some of the edges of paper! :)  Anyways def a great way to get caught up on any cards you might need and am sure these ladies are a great bunch as one of my dear friends is on the DT! :)  Love you Anabelle!!!  It is called Stamping Challenge so please go check them out!!! :)

Sports'tacular!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!!!  Over at MY SHERI CRAFTS we are starting off the new year celebrating all the sports going on around us.  While traditionally alot of us are focused on football I actually decided to make a New Years Card for a special cousin of mine that loves Baseball!!! :)  He loves getting cards from me and therefore had to start the year off right by sending him one! :)

Its A Wrap

Over at My Sheri Crafts ITS A WRAP in more ways than one!!! :)  We are "wrapping" up the end of the year with some fun and making a craft that involves wrapping or dolling up a bag or tag for a Christmas gift! :)  I really enjoyed this challenge!!!!!!  I went traditional colors this go around in honor of my best friend and fellow DT member Sandy who came up with this challange idea! :)  She so loves Christmas and while can think out of the color "box" down deep she just plain loves the traditional ones the best!  LOVE YOU SANDY!!!

My Sheri Crafts Going Christmas!

 Over at My Sheri Crafts this week we are making a go at getting ready for Christmas in our crafting!!  Believe it or not yes my card is a Christmas card!!! :)  I had to have a lil fun and put in the one that seemed less like one to go with my nickname of Halloween Queen! My best friend each year receives cards from me throughout the year that are always Halloween themed no matter what the holiday! :)  Please come over and help us start celebrating!

Pumpkins n Apples

This week over at My Sheri Crafts we were challenged with making a card or project that included a pumpkin or apple.  I was torn between what to do but with time and life being as it is right now I went with a simple card that showed off this wonderful new die cut pumpkin!

Over at My Sheri Crafts this go around we are celebrating FAMILY!!!!  This is a baby gift for my niece for her first child.......RILEY!!!! :)  The pic in the holder is my daughter, i used it as a prop! :)  The huge closepin comes from Michaels, it was a great clearance find!! The letters are from paper studio from HL.  The ribbon from HL.  Rose at bottom by paper studio from HL and last but not least the charm from the jewelry sections of yes.......Hobby Lobby! :)  Hmmmmm can you tell that is the closest craft store to me! :)

Over at My Sheri Crafts this week we are celebrating the end of summer with a white on white challenge!  I do have to say that this is always a trick and major challenge for me as I can't seem to stay away from some bit of color!!! :) 

I of course apologize that I do not know the sizzix die cut name of the flower that I chose nor do I know the name of the cuttlebug embossing folder...I always rip the packages up and never think to write in on them anywhere!!

Back To School

Over at My Sheri Crafts this go around come and join in on the fun of going BACK TO SCHOOL!  We were challenged to come up with a project or card that dealt with going back to school.  I do have to confess that this is an actual bday present for a 2 year old but I am hoping it will give him lots to learn!  I started off with an unfinished wooden lap desk from Hobby Lobby and modge podged its way to this creation!!

All papers were bought at Hobby Lobby as well as all the lettered stickers and numbers.  I freehand cut the shapes for some additional learning!
