Over at My Sheri Crafts this week we are celebrating the end of summer with a white on white challenge! I do have to say that this is always a trick and major challenge for me as I can't seem to stay away from some bit of color!!! :)
I of course apologize that I do not know the sizzix die cut name of the flower that I chose nor do I know the name of the cuttlebug embossing folder...I always rip the packages up and never think to write in on them anywhere!!
Come on over though and join in on the fun with us!!!
I think your like me Michelle, I wanted to throw a bit of color on my card too, lol! Maybe it's hereditary, LOL! I really like how this card opens! Nice job with it!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Michelle! I gave in and added some accent in silver-but just a little bit! And silver is almost white, right???? I have the same problem with names of embossing plates and stuff. It's a good thing most of the stamp sets have their name printed on them!
ReplyDeleteOk, you're not alone in wanting to throw in a bit of color... I guess I cheated when I used glitter! It turned the pieces I used the glitter on a bit bluish. Love how your white on white card came out though... the ribbon bellow the sun / flowers gives it a great accent as well
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I love the simple elegance of your card. The flowers remind me of sunflowers. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour simple embossed sunflowers really pop on your white-on-white card, Sarah! I'm just the opposite of you, in that I immediately write the name of all new products on them, as it makes me crazy to not know what they are -- LOL!!!
